Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is providing a further 150 million euros for additional economic aid in the Corona crisis. Some aid programs are being extended against the background of the ongoing pandemic, and several are being added, as the Ministry of Economic Affairs announced in Schwerin on Monday. According to the information, for example, a new program is being launched for the manufacturing sector, with the aim of increasing investments.
For some already existing aid programs, the application deadline will be extended or the group of eligible applicants will be expanded. For example, the application deadline for the market presence bonus will be extended to the end of May, which retailers can use for advertising or setting up an online shop. According to the ministry, this premium is a one-time lump sum of 5000 euros.
