Hanseatic Railway wins contract for Altmark routes

The Hanseatic Railway Company continues to operate the routes from Stendal to Tangermünde and Rathenow. After a Europe-wide invitation to tender, they were again awarded the contract for the "Elbe-Altmark II" network with the regional trains RB 33 and RB 34, said Nahverkehrsservice Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH (NASA) in Magdeburg on Monday. The new transport contract is valid from December 2022 to December 2028. It covers around 370 train kilometers per year with around 000 passengers. The largest share is in Saxony-Anhalt. The clients are the states of Saxony-Anhalt and Brandenburg.
