According to EU budget commissioner Johannes Hahn, Austria submitted its reform plan for the Corona recovery plan on Tuesday.
The 600-page plan is "very detailed", Hahn announced on Wednesday in Brussels. An assessment will take time, but the first reactions would have been "very positive".
The EU states have to submit their plans for the money from the 750 billion euro program to the EU Commission by the end of April. Then the authority checks the projects for the financing targets for green and digital. As things stand, Austria could receive around 3,5 billion euros in grants. (apa)
